Dr. Culbertson graduated summa cum laude from the University of the South where she majored in chemistry and minored in German. During her studies, she spent time in Germany where she became engaged to her husband.
She went on to earn her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received several academic and leadership awards.
Dr. Culbertson completed her Family Medicine residency training in Spartanburg, South Carolina, serving as chief resident during her final year of residency. She subsequently completed a hospitalist fellowship, further strengthening her expertise in inpatient medicine.
Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Culbertson considers raising her three amazing children to be her proudest accomplishment.
Dr. Culbertson has enjoyed being a part of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Atrium Health Floyd, where she is privileged to work alongside colleagues who are deeply committed to patient care, excellence in medicine and supporting one another. Her clinical interests include hospital medicine, evidence-based medicine, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), prenatal care, office and hospital-based procedures, and resident education. She holds POCUS certification through the Society of Hospital Medicine and is particularly passionate about incorporating ultrasound and evidence-based practice into resident training and patient care.

Dr. Henderson completed his medical education at Yale School of Medicine followed by his residency training at Tufts University Family Medicine Residency and a fellowship in integrative medicine through the University of Arizona.
At Atrium Health Floyd, he enjoys working with residents and fostering an engaging learning environment by creating medical simulations. He now serves as an Associate Program Director in the Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Henderson enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, hiking and seeking out scenic waterfalls on outdoor adventures.

Dr. Nazione joined the Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency Clinic as a faculty member after completing his family medicine residency training at Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, Georgia. He earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) and is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT).
He practices at the Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency Clinic where he serves as Associate Program Director, Clinic Lead and Director of Osteopathic Education. In these roles, he is passionate about mentoring resident physicians and integrating osteopathic principles into graduate medical education. Dr. Nazione has also been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (FACOFP).
His clinical interests include osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT), musculoskeletal medicine and injections, male hypogonadism and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), academic medicine and practice management. He is actively involved in advancing osteopathic family medicine through his service as President-Elect of the Georgia Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (GA-ACOFP) and his membership in several professional organizations, including the AAFP, GAFP and AOA.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. A passionate soccer enthusiast, he enjoys playing, coaching and watching the sport, as well as traveling the world, exploring electronic music—including house, progressive and trance—and occasionally DJing. He and his family are also avid Disney fans and enjoy making frequent trips together.

Dr. Desmond graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his family medicine residency at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since joining Atrium Health Floyd, he has been passionate about lifelong learning, medical education, and helping residents and students grow in a supportive learning environment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Desmond enjoys day hiking, playing electric guitar, woodworking and exploring topics related to minimalist footwear and Sasquatch. He holds a Master of Education degree and is happily married. He and his wife have two sons.

Dr. Dugan joined Atrium Health Floyd as a faculty member after completing both medical school and residency training within Georgia. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency.
Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Dugan graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in management information systems and worked as an IT risk consultant for Ernst & Young. Her unique professional background brings a valuable perspective to patient care, education and health care systems.
As a faculty physician, Dr. Dugan is passionate about broad-spectrum family medicine and preparing residents to provide comprehensive care across all stages of life. Her professional interests include women’s health and obstetrical care, adolescent and pediatric medicine, and procedures. She enjoys mentoring residents as they develop the skills and confidence needed to practice full-spectrum family medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Dugan enjoys traveling to both new and familiar places, reading, walking her dog, drinking coffee and spending time with friends and family near and far.

Dr. Einterz earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Cascades East Family Medicine Residency in Klamath Falls, Oregon. After working in the northwest for four years, he joined Atrium Health Floyd as a hospitalist. He then became a faculty member of the Family Medicine Residency program a few years later.
Dr. Einterz is committed to helping residents develop the knowledge, clinical skills and confidence needed to care for patients across a wide range of inpatient conditions.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys exploring Floyd County, hiking with his toddler son, listening to role-playing podcasts and watching Star Trek with his wife, Dr. Custer.

Dr. Grosse joined Atrium Health Floyd as a clinical health psychologist and core faculty member dedicated to helping patients navigate the behavioral and emotional challenges that often accompany chronic illness. He earned his doctorate in psychology from Mercer University and completed a clinical health psychology fellowship at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Dr. Grosse is passionate about integrating behavioral health into primary care and medical education, helping future physicians understand the vital connection between physical and mental health. His professional interests include sleep, nutrition, exercise, provider well-being, bioethics and the integration of behavioral and mental health into medical training.
Outside of work, Dr. Grosse enjoys trail running, fly fishing, camping, practicing music and spending time with his family.

Dr. Jennings graduated from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at UAMS South-Magnolia. Originally from Commerce, Georgia, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and later completed a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in health policy at UGA.
Dr. Jennings is passionate about caring for patients and values the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of individuals and communities.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys singing, reading, writing poetry, cooking and spending time with her family.

Affiliation: Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Family Medicine ResidencyDr. Lanier serves as the Associate Director of Pharmacy Operations for Atrium Health Floyd Behavioral Health and is a member of the core faculty for the Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency Program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental biology from Jacksonville State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy. Dr. Lanier completed both her PGY1 and PGY2 residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina, specializing in ambulatory care with an emphasis in primary care.
Dr. Lanier is board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and ambulatory care pharmacy (BCACP). She also holds a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from Valdosta State University and is a diplomate of the ASHP Foundation Pharmacy Leadership Academy (DPLA).
Her professional interests include improving medication access, supporting transitions of care and optimizing patient outcomes through a collaborative, team-based approach. She is passionate about helping patients safely and effectively navigate complex medication regimens and believes that, in some cases, the best medicine is less medicine.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Lanier enjoys spending time with her husband and their children. She also enjoys playing tennis, weightlifting and serving the community through the Junior Service League of Rome.

Dr. Stutz graduated from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia.
During medical school, she stayed for an additional year to complete a fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) and anatomy, which provided time to both learn and teach in both areas.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Stutz earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in nutrition and worked as a registered dietitian for several years. She incorporates lifestyle medicine principles into patient care, with an emphasis on nutrition, exercise, stress management and sleep. She is currently pursuing certification through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Her professional interests include nutrition, sports medicine, OMM, musculoskeletal disorders and rheumatology.
Outside of work, Dr. Stutz enjoys spending time with her three children, running local races, cooking, reading historical fiction and sewing.
